1. While packing separate
out the delicate items like crockery and other glass items. These will need an
extra layer of protective cover around them. You can use corrugated paper or
bubble sheet to create soft cushion for protection.
2. Try to pack the breakable
glass items in a wooden box. For other sturdy items like books, clothes etc you
can use steel trunks and disposable cardboard cartons also.
3. Always take extra
precaution against water. It can enter the cardboard cartons and ruin the
things inside. Therefore make sure that while packing adequate protection
against water is taken.
4. Number the boxes or
provide some kind of identification so that they do not get lost in transit.
After numbering make a list of the items in each to help you while unpacking.
